1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the SoulSpace website, pre-release software, and forms that link to this notice. SoulSpace is an independent project. Some features are still in development, so the information handled can differ by release and by the services you choose to connect.
This policy was last reviewed on October 10, 2026.
2. Information we handle
The information depends on how you use SoulSpace:
- Information you submit: for example, an email address sent through a waitlist or contact form, plus any message you choose to include.
- Basic request information: the website host may process technical details such as an IP address, browser, requested page, and timestamps to deliver the site, diagnose errors, and protect it from abuse.
- Workspace information: notes, project names, pages, and other content you create inside a SoulSpace app.
We do not ask you to submit sensitive personal information through the website.
3. Your workspace data
SoulSpace is designed as a local-first workspace. In the desktop app, core workspace content is stored on your device. In the browser edition, core content is stored in browser storage on the device you use. This means that clearing browser data, removing the app, or losing access to a device may remove locally stored content. Keep your own exports or backups for anything important.
If you choose an AI, sync, or other connected feature, the information needed to provide that feature may be sent to the service provider you selected. The provider’s own privacy notice applies to its processing. Review the disclosure shown by that feature before sending private material.
4. How information is used and shared
Information submitted to the project may be used to respond to you, manage an access or update request, maintain the site, and prevent misuse. It is not sold.
When the waitlist form is active, its email address is sent to Google Forms for signup records and an email is sent through the project’s configured Gmail service. Google may process that information under its own terms and privacy notice. The website also relies on hosting and infrastructure providers to make pages available and secure.
Information may be disclosed if required by law, to protect users or the project from harm, or as part of a transfer of the project. We do not intentionally load third-party advertising or analytics scripts on the SoulSpace landing page at the time of this update.
5. Retention and security
We keep submitted information only for as long as needed to respond, manage the request, meet legal obligations, and maintain security. You can ask us to remove an email address from project-managed signup records. Copies held by service providers may follow their own retention schedules.
Reasonable steps are taken to protect information handled by the project. No website, device, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
You can choose not to submit personal information through the website. You can delete local workspace content from the app or browser storage, and you can export content before removing it. Where privacy laws apply, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.
To make a request, contact the maintainer through the SoulSpace project profile. Please avoid posting private information in public issue trackers.
7. Children’s privacy
SoulSpace is a productivity workspace and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact the maintainer so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
8. Changes and contact
This policy may change as the product and its providers change. The current version and its effective date will be posted here. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date at the top of the page.
For privacy questions or requests, contact the maintainer through the SoulSpace project profile.
Local-first describes where core workspace content is designed to live. Optional connected features can involve separate providers and separate data practices.
