Anime Director Tatsuo Sato Passes Away

Image via Tatsuo Sato on X (formerly Twitter) Anime producer Fumio Kaneko announced on the official NAGOMI anime studio X (formerly Twitter) account on May 7 that award-winning director Tatsuo Sato passed away on April 24. According to the statement, Sato passed away from liver failure at 61 years old, for which he was undergoing treatment. The post also noted that Sato was working on an in-production series at the studio.
